Tulsi Manas Temple is one of the most famous modern Temple dedicated to the Lord Rama. It is believed thet Tulsi Manas Temple is built at the place where Tulsidas authored Ramcharitmanas, which narrates the life of Rama. The most striking feature of the temple is that its walls are engraved with verses and scenes from the Ramcharitmanas. The majestic scenes of mythological works can be viewed through these beautiful wall carvings. Durga Temple is a modern temple constructed by a philanthropist family of Varanasi in Shikhara style. Tulsi Manas Temple is open to all communities. Its white marble walls have the verses of Tulsidas’ Ramcharitmanas inscribed on them. Built in white marble in the year 1964, it has been made more charming by the magnificent landscaping around it. The first floor of the temple has a small gallery which showcases the story of Ramayana with the help of performing structures. Even though there is a fee for entering the gallery, but it is quite meagre and the performing structures are truly wonderful and great fun, especially if you have children.
